About the Role

Are you a strategic marketer with a passion for driving local impact? We’re looking for an experienced Local Area Marketing (LAM) Manager to lead the development and execution of an insight-led marketing strategy that supports our national network of 70+ retail stores across 35 communities.

This is a 6 month fixed term opportunity that will see you shape how we connect with customers at a local level—helping us achieve growth ambitions across Private Health Insurance, Financial Products, and Health Programs.

You’ll work in a cross-functional environment, define our Customer Value Proposition (CVP) for the GEO model, and partner with creative agencies to bring it to life. From building scalable marketing tools and creative assets to enabling frontline teams with a self-serve portal, you’ll make local marketing simple, effective, and impactful.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Strategy: Develop and implement a holistic LAM strategy to drive acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Optimise Performance: Review current activity, measure ROI, and set guardrails for smarter local marketing spend.
• Enable Local Teams: Build creative assets, a self-serve marketing portal, and provide training for brand consistency.
• Collaborate & Influence: Work across squads and stakeholders to integrate LAM into broader campaigns.
• Measure & Improve: Define success metrics, leverage insights, and scale winning tactics nationally.

What We’re Looking For

• Significant demonstrable experience in marketing, with strong expertise in local area or retail marketing.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans with measurable outcomes.
• Strong skills in ROI analysis, stakeholder management, and creative briefing.
• Highly collaborative, commercially savvy, and comfortable navigating complex environments.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with marketing enablement platforms or self-serve tools.
• Background in health insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.
