The Opportunity – Learning Experience Designer (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

We are looking for a Learning & Development superstar to join our Squad supporting our Amplar Health Service Delivery team! 

 

We are on the search for a Learning Experience Designer, passionate about health, clinical skill development and is keen to play a strategic role in shaping innovative learning solutions aligned to business improvement. This role will design blended learning experiences across the employee lifecycle - From induction, graduate pathways, clinical capability uplift, leadership, coaching and career development. 

 

Your work will directly support our goal of creating a workplace where people feel supported, connected, and setup for success. 

 

How you will create value 

 

  • Design impactful learning by assessing needs, defining clear objectives and creating digital, hybrid and face-to-face programs for clinical and nonclinical roles. 

  • Build programs for graduates, transitions and career pathways, ensuring they meet clinical, adult learning standards and WCAG guidelines. 

  • Bring innovation through emerging technologies - AI, gamification and continuous improvement. 

  • Enhance people experience by aligning learning with onboarding, attraction and retention strategies. 

  • Collaborate and influence across teams, working closely with educators, leaders and Talent & Attraction. 

  • Measure and improve learning effectiveness to deliver strong outcomes.  

 

About you 

 

You’re a collaborative learning designer who creates meaningful, human-centred experiences. You bring: 

 

  • Experience designing digital, face-to-face and blended learning, ideally in a healthcare setting. 

  • Strong understanding of instructional design. 

  • Experience designing programs for clinical workforce development, including graduate and transition pathways. Ability to work across multiple stakeholders with clear communication. 

  • Experience in leading learning design and delivery projects end-to-end. 

  • Proficiency with learning platforms and authoring tools.
