About the Role

Medibank is seeking a Hospital & Provider Advocacy Consultant to join our Provider Solutions Team on a 12-month fixed term, part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful impact while working school-friendly hours (Monday to Friday, 10am–3pm AEST).
As a Hospital & Provider Advocacy Consultant, you’ll be the friendly and knowledgeable voice supporting hospitals and healthcare providers. You’ll help them navigate claims, systems, and services with empathy and efficiency—ensuring every interaction reflects Medibank’s commitment to better health.
You’ll work primarily from home, with one day per month in-office or in-store for collaboration and connection.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responding to calls and messages from hospitals and providers, offering expert support and guidance
- Promoting digital tools and resources to streamline the claims process
- Using internal systems and knowledge bases to provide accurate information
- Collaborating with your team to meet service quality and satisfaction goals
- Sharing ideas to improve provider experiences and internal processes
- Participating in training and team meetings to continue growing your skills
What You’ll Bring

- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Enjoys solving problems and helping others
- Has experience in customer service, administration, retail, or hospitality
- Can stay calm and focused under pressure
- Learns new systems and tools quickly
- Works well in a team and contributes to shared goals
- Is open to feedback and continuous improvement
Experience in a contact centre or healthcare environment is a plus, but not essential.
