The Opportunity

As a Health Concierge Clinician, you will connect with predefined cohorts of Medibank members, delivering a phone‑based support service at key points in their health journey, with a strong focus on pre‑admission preparation and post‑discharge recovery. You will provide clinical, emotional, and practical advice, and where relevant, educate members about Amplar Health and Medibank programs that align with their needs.

You will also play an important role in assisting and empowering members to navigate the health system, offering guidance, linking them to appropriate support services and resources, and providing relevant collateral within the scope of the program.

  • We have permanent full time and part time (0.6 - 1.0 FTE) positions available. 
  • Start dates are Tuesday 10th and 23rd March 2026 - with 10 days of full-time training (Mon- Fri) before moving to your fixed roster.
  • Training will be Virtual. After training you can choose to work from home or in one of our offices or a combination of both.
  • Your working days will be rostered across the hours of 9-6 pm (Melbourne local time) Monday to Friday.
  • Please note, you will need fast, reliable internet and appropriate workspace to ensure privacy whilst working.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a passion for preventative health, customer service with strong interpersonal skills displaying empathy and a thoroughly engaging phone manner. You have a focused mindset to deliver exceptional service to Medibank members via the phone. Self-motivated and proactive, you are comfortable working to KPIs and targets.

Additionally, the candidate will bring:

  • Minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience in Australia, specifically within a hospital setting.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience using multiple systems and the ability to learn new operating systems.
  • Degree in health: you are either a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Pharmacist or Dietitian with AHPRA or relevant registration and are focused on providing proactive care to your patients.
  • Previous customer service or telephone-based experience, using SharePoint and Verint will be advantageous, however not necessary.
