About the role
We’re looking for a Head of People – Customer to join our People, Spaces and Sustainability team. In this strategic role, you’ll partner closely with leaders across the Customer Group to support the delivery of their business strategies through strong people leadership.
You’ll provide expert advice on complex people matters, help shape people plans, and play a key role in building a positive, inclusive and high‑performing culture. This role balances strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership, working collaboratively with squads and stakeholders across the business.
The responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Partner with Squad and Hub Leads to provide strategic people advice aligned to business priorities and future needs.
- Lead the development and delivery of people plans across the Customer division.
- Identify emerging people risks and opportunities and work with leaders to put practical & progressive solutions in place.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influence positive outcomes.
- Coach and support leaders on managing performance, change, and complex people issues.
- Lead and support your squad, providing clarity, direction, and support for development and delivery.
- Promote strong governance and foster a culture of compliance, inclusion and care across all people practices.
About you
You’re an experienced people leader who enjoys partnering with the business to deliver meaningful outcomes. You’re confident navigating complexity, influencing at senior levels, and translating strategy into practical action.
You’ll bring:
- Strong experience across people and culture, HR advisory or partnering roles.
- The ability to build trusted relationships and influence across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Solid leadership capability, with experience coaching and developing others.
- A commercial mindset and curiosity about how people outcomes support business success.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative, service‑oriented approach.
- A commitment to inclusive, compliant and values‑led people practices.
