About the role

 

We are looking for an Employee Communications Partner to join our Employee Communications team in People & Culture in a permanent role! In this position you will partner with senior stakeholders in your Portfolios to plan and deliver engaging communications and campaigns using a range of different internal communication channels.

 

Your impact

 

  • Ensuring that all communications include relevant news from the enterprise that provide a connection for our employees to Medibank’s purpose, vision, strategy and culture ensuring that our customer first value is front of mind.
  • Creating and delivering communication strategies that support the launch or embedding of a range of initiatives  across Medibank.
  • Working with Group Executives and their leadership teams to improve their communication  strategies by providing actionable insights.
  • Providing communication and change consulting on day-to-day issues with senior stakeholders, line managers and working groups.

 

Your experience

 

You are an experienced communications professional, with extensive experience partnering with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver internal communications strategies. You are self-motivated and solutions-focused professional, with a breadth of experience working across issues management and stakeholder engagement with both senior stakeholders and employee groups. You also:

  • Have excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage and consult effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Have the ability to assess opportunity and risk within a problem statement and are willing to roll up your sleeves when the situation demands.
  • Are a strategic thinker who can work autonomously but also enjoys working in a collaborative environment where your sense of urgency to deliver shines through.
  • Consider yourself to be a trusted advisor to your stakeholders due to your exceptional relationship building and engagement skills.
  • Ideally have technical skills and experience with platforms like SharePoint Intranet, Yammer, Google Analytics and Swoop Analytics but don’t worry if you don’t, we can teach you!

 

Your qualifications

 

You have relevant tertiary qualifications in a desirable field like Communications, HR, Public Relations or Marketing.
