The Opportunity
Medibank offers private health insurance products, but did you know we also offer diversified products? Medibank sells travel, life and pet insurance products as the authorised agent of other insurers. These products are strongly aligned to our core insurance business, extending peace of mind to all members of the family, including those who are overseas, as well as much-loved family pets.

We have an exciting 12-month contract opportunity in our diversified team and are looking for a digital guru to join us. Reporting to the Performance Marketing Lead, this role is pivotal to delivering and optimising ‘always on’ digital media acquisition campaigns. This role will deliver ongoing media efficiencies through a ‘test and learn’ program for all digital channels including SEM, social, programmatic display and Email. 

Where you can add value:

  • Responsible for digital media campaign planning, implementation, optimisation and reporting, in collaboration with the Acquisition and Growth team to ensure that offline and online media is fully integrated.
  • Build out and drive a test and learn program for Creative and Media, sharing learnings with Acquisition and Growth team to optimise performance
  • Developing and testing landing pages for paid media activity.
  • Partnering with agencies to ensure timely delivery of digital plans and executing these within agreed timeframes.
  • Proactively apply data and qualitative insights to support digital campaign planning, analysis and optimisation
  • Manage our always on SEM activity, working closely with agency partners
  • Being the go-to person in the Marketing team for Diversified Digital media (i.e. agencies, reporting, insights, recommendations, planning, etc.)


Your Impact
As a digital marketer, you've been on the tools for the past 3 or 4 years and will be using your experience to strategise, manage and optimise our digital media activity.
On any given day you will be debating approaches with a colleague, strategising with a stakeholder on the tools (e.g. in Google Analytics), implementing your recommendations and briefing Specialists. You will work with a high performing team of marketing professionals, and with our digital agency partners to provide key digital media reporting, insights and competitive analysis as well as developing new campaign strategies which meet our brand and sales objectives across our Diversified portfolios (Pet, Travel and Life Insurance).
