The Opportunity


As a Digital Marketing Analyst joining Medibank, you will work within the performance & productivity team playing a key role in driving performance outlook and insights.


Utilising your stakeholder engagement and analytical skills, you will also partner with the financial products team to assist them to achieve their targets in Medibank’s Motor & Home, Pet, Life & Travel products.


Your digital analytics background will be called upon in this role as we look to grow our self-serve digital reporting infrastructure and automate existing enterprise reporting as well as identify tangible opportunities to share with the wider team.


Your duties will include


  • Automating existing enterprise reporting by providing digital data & performance measures to a marketing master funnel to surface actionable insights.
  • Timely & accurate delivery of reporting artefacts across the crews.
  • Navigating performance outlook based on trajectory using Waterfall as well as regular review of campaign initiative tracking to target.
  • Proactively contributing to a performance driven culture through the embedment of AB testing framework, optimisation & personalisation initiatives for the marketing team.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to align on initiatives & priorities
  • Co-own digital data integrity initiatives such as taxonomy, knowledge governance & data warehousing governance.
  • Subject matter expert in team OKRs as well as how they’re formulated.



What are we looking for?


You have proven track record in Digital Analytics and Insights and are highly proficient Power User of Google Analytics & SQL Querying. You are analytical and your problem-solving ability is one of your strengths, you use relevant data to provide insight and drive performance.


You’re skilled at working collaboratively with others and actively contributing to the achievement of common work goals. You are inquisitive and a thought leader and you can effectively manage stakeholder relationships and prioritisation discussions to senior audience.


You are a big picture thinker who can draw upon the market context to understand impact on performance.


Other requirements


  • Strong knowledge in SQL, SAS.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Double Click, Search Console, BigQuery.
  • Strong driver of performance culture
  • Experience in A/B tests & implementing continuous change within a team
  • Strong reporting skills and development of business intelligence dashboards
