The Opportunity

As a Digital Business Analyst, your role will be to support the Digital Team and wider business to help members join, service and engage with their health insurance. This is a core role in understanding requirements and guiding solutions for technical delivery activities for all customer facing offerings at Medibank. The role is tactically focused and instrumental in delivering a superior customer experience, deep product knowledge and a strong focus on customer experience coupled with the ability to facilitate effective discussions at all levels within IT and the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

This opportunity requires strong stakeholder and influencing skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a service and delivery focus. This role will contribute to Medibank through:

  • Working closely with UX Designers, Product Owners, Developers & Testers leading in the ideation, design, delivery of our digital products
  • Elicit end-to-end requirements from multiple business & technical areas, breakdown initiatives into epics and stories, customer journeys and acceptance criteria’s.
  • Gather, review, categorise and document information from numerous sources into Use Cases as required utilising Jira and confluence
  • Utilize industry and internal modelling techniques to assist in translation of information into process, logical and physical representations.
  • Active participation in Agile ceremonies and processes including PI and sprint planning, estimation sessions, grooming workshops, showcases, etc
  • Promote and continuously refine best agile BA practices

  • Have experience as a mid-to-senior level business analyst, delivering customer-facing digital products
  • Have a passion for innovation and creating amazing products that fulfil our customers' needs
  • Can develop credibility with stakeholders and build trusted, effective working relationships
  • Are an analytical thinker with highly developed problem solving skills
  • Have excellent verbal communication and facilitation skills to interact with a diverse group including executives, managers and subject matter experts
  • Have experience with working with Product Owner side by side and have excellent influencing skills to get better outcomes for the business
