About the role  
Health insurance is complicated, and we’re committed to making things simple for our customers’, and giving them great experiences when they need to go to hospital or to an ancillary provider.


In this role as Customer Proposition Lead you will look at how we bring to life industry leading new propositions which we’ve developed in collaboration with our hospital and ancillary providers. This involves developing a deep understanding of the services we offer, determining which services we should make available on our products and how, and working closely with our team to bring this to life for our customers. 


This is a full-time permanent opportunity with the flexibility to work from home in Melbourne/VIC and in the Melbourne CBD office when it re-opens.


Reporting to the Head of Product, Partnerships and Delivery, you are happy to roll up your sleeves to: 
•    Drive ideation, coordinate consumer testing and research to inform which propositions will provider greatest appeal for Medibank and ahm members, and commercial assessment of the impact of the programs on portfolio margin.
•    Lead cross functional ideation with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for provider innovation that may enhance the ahm and Medibank value proposition.
•    Work collaboratively with Health Partnership, Provider Proposition and Go to Market teams to bring to life new provider propositions.


Now, who are you?  
Enough about us, let’s talk about you… you have an entrepreneurial spirit and aren’t afraid to roll your sleeves up when the time comes. You’re a little bit obsessive about understanding our customers and getting to know what makes them tick. 


You bring strategy experience, and strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills. You will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategy or product management, with experience establishing innovative commercial partnering arrangements. You can manage senior stakeholder relationships, negotiate and influence including the ability to balance and manage diverse and conflicting stakeholder interests. You have advanced communication skills, including ability to structure a story and communicate with clarity with demonstrated success in end to end and structured problem solving.
