The role

In this role you will lead the delivery of sales revenue targets across NSW, QLD and NT leading a team of Key Account Managers.  Reporting to the Head of Sales you will lead, coach and motivate a team of sales professionals as well as managing the largest and most valuable accounts in these states.


Your impact

As a leader and member of the Corporate Sales Leadership Team, you will impact through your input to the formation of strategy and key decisions for the portfolio.  You will work with the Head of Sales to develop and implement the Corporate Sales Strategy, specifically providing input on a penetration plan relating to the existing Medibank portfolio.


Medibank is well into the transition from a PHI focused organisation to a health care company, and you will support the go to market for this in our corporate portfolio. You will partner with the Corporate Health & Wellbeing professionals to transition current and prospective customers from a pure PHI model to a holistic health offering.


You will also drive the 2Brand5Proposition strategy by delivering a differentiated proposition through PHI (Medibank and ahm), Workers Visitors and Travel, Pet and Life to all Australian Corporates.


What you bring

You bring extensive experience in a similar sales or business development role, with demonstrated success in a business to business relationship-based sales environment with proven success in managing major account sales. An experienced people leader, you have experience managing remote sales teams and enjoy enabling and coaching your team towards success. You will also be:

  • Proficient at driving maximum results from an established client base
  • Proven ability in developing and leveraging multiple relationships to effectively network a client organisation in order to drive organic sales
  • Advanced relationship management, selling, interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised and structured in managing staff / accounts / clients and territory.
  • Strong ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships, negotiate and influence
  • Experience in corporate or health related industries is highly desirable
