The Role

The Compliance & Experience Specialist is responsible for leading the vulnerability management across Windows, macOS, IOS and Android devices using Intune and Patch My PC to maintain a secure posture. They will utilise the organisation’s Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platform to provide actionable insights, perform root cause analysis, and proactively address endpoint issues.

 

Monitor and track overall endpoint health, ensuring optimal performance and user experience and create benchmarks to maintain the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) against industry best practices and compliance standards.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Lead vulnerability remediation across Windows and macOS fleets using Intune and Patch My PC.
  • Monitor and report on patch compliance and security posture for all managed endpoints.
  • Utilise the organisation’s DEX platform to identify root causes of endpoint issues.
  • Proactively address reported problems and optimise overall endpoint health.
  • Track and report on key DEX metrics to improve user experience.
  • Ensure endpoint SOE is benchmarked against industry standards and security baselines.
  • Collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance with organisational policies.
  • Stay informed on emerging OS features, security updates, and best practices.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance endpoint resilience and performance.
  • Work closely withing Workplace Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams to align strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for compliance-related initiatives.
  • Leveraging toolsets at hand, provide 3rd level support and insights into root cause analysis
  • Contribute and grow Knowledge Base articles to further empower 1st and 2nd (and 3rd) level teams.
  • Coordinate, test, and implement IW changes (e.g. software rollouts, policy updates) with minimal business disruption through formal change processes. 
  • Communicate planned changes to end users and stakeholders, ensuring documentation and scheduling align with TECC and/or CAB governance.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents related to end-user devices, applications, and services using tools like Intune. 
  • Accurately log, prioritize, and escalate issues as needed, ensuring timely updates and resolution for impacted users.
  • Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to reduce incident volumes.  Maintain and update knowledge articles and known error records to support faster issue resolution across the support team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for vulnerability management, configuration, and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with the service desk, security, and infrastructure teams to improve the device and user experience.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving overall environmental and support practices.

 

About You:

  • Strong expertise in Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Patch My PC, and modern endpoint management.
  • Familiarity with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) tools and analytics.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex endpoint issues.
  • Understanding of industry benchmarks for SOE and security baselines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Understanding of conditional access, compliance policies, MAM/MDM configurations, and identity-based access control.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to scripting or automation for reporting or device compliance tracking.
  • Develop and manage device compliance policies and integrate them with Conditional Access to enforce secure access controls.
  • Collaborate with identity/security teams to design, test, and implement CA policies that align with organisational security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Conditional Access and device compliance, ensuring minimal disruption to end-user experience.
