At Medibank, our purpose is Better Health for Better Lives – and that starts with our people. We’re looking for a Compensation Manager to join our Payment Integrity team and lead a group of passionate professionals who make a real difference every day.

In this 12-month opportunity, you’ll:

  • Lead and inspire a team to achieve financial recovery targets and deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Shape strategy by developing and implementing the vision for Compensation in partnership with the Head of Payment Integrity.
  • Drive innovation through process optimisation, automation, and data insights.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including legal representatives, insurers, and providers.
  • Champion quality and compliance, ensuring adherence to fund rules, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.

 

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Proven leadership experience (minimum 2 years) with a focus on coaching and team development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think laterally.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with attention to detail and a strong risk and quality focus.
  • Knowledge of the private health insurance sector or legal experience in  compensation schemes and personal injury law is highly desirable.
