The MHS Telehealth Division has been providing essential services to the community on behalf of our clients for over twenty years.  Our Mental Health and Human Services team consists of over 350 mental professionals (mental health nurses, counsellors, social workers, psychologists) that work virtually 24/7 365 days of the year. 

 

How will you add value?

As an experienced leader reporting to the Head of Mental Health, the Clinical Manager will be responsible for leading a team of frontline leaders and their direct reports, providing a safe and quality service to the community whilst meeting contractual obligations and KPIs. 

 

Key accountabilities include:

  • The operational service delivery across all mental health contracts/services/programs;
  • Achievement of contractual KPIs;
  • Operational clinical quality, compliance and governance;
  • Employee engagement, attrition, absenteeism, performance management and career development;
  • Developing Clinical Leads; and
  • Development and maintenance of training, policies and procedures.  

 

Our national virtual team have the option to work from home or the office based in Melbourne or  Sydney. From time to time you will be required to work from the office or travel interstate.

 

This role is a fixed-term contract until 30th June 2022.

 

About you

 

You are an experienced leader with track record of leading complex and multidisciplinary teams eg. call centres. You have demonstrated ability to think strategically and operationalise a strategic plan. You have experience managing remote workers and communicating through virtual mediums such as audio/video conferencing, instant messaging, chat rooms and collaborative software. You have experience in coaching and mentoring and can lead, motivate and inspire people to achieve business goals. You can translate data to insights, community outcomes and operational efficiencies. Ideally, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in either management or business. Your experience in healthcare or a professional services organisation with a mental health qualification is desirable but not essential.
