Join Amplar Health and play a key role in enhancing clinical governance across our GP Network, specifically with our Better Medical GP Clinics . This is a unique opportunity to influence how high-quality, patient-centred care is delivered during an exciting time of growth and transformation for our Primary Care business.This role is open to candidates based in South Australia or Queensland, with a flexible work-from-home model and occasional travel.
About the Role
As a Clinical Governance Business Partner, you will support safe, effective, and compliant care delivery across approximately 60 GP clinics. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will partner with clinical leaders to strengthen governance frameworks, manage clinical risk, and drive continuous improvement across primary and virtual care environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of clinical incidents, complaints, and adverse events across medical services
- Support investigations, risk escalations, and root cause analysis
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives within primary care and virtual care services
- Contribute to clinical audits, RACGP accreditation, and credentialing processes (including medical services)
- Deliver and support clinical governance education for multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures aligned to primary care and medical service standards
- Analyse clinical data and deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders
- Partner with operational and clinical leaders to implement quality and patient safety initiatives
- Monitor clinical KPIs and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
About You
You are a clinically trained professional with experience supporting governance and quality in medical or primary care environments, and are confident working across multidisciplinary teams.
You will bring:
- Registration as a nurse or allied health professional
- Proven experience in clinical governance, quality, or patient safety roles
- Background in a GP, primary care, or broader medical service setting
- Experience with incident management, investigations, audits, or accreditation
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence clinicians and stakeholders
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to work autonomously in a part-time capacity
