The Opportunity – Business Intelligence Analyst
As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Amplar Health, you will help shape the future of healthcare through data-driven insights. This is role involves working with rich data assets to inform strategic decisions that enhance customer engagement, operational efficiency, clinical outcomes, and commercial performance. How you will create value:
You will deliver actionable insights and analytics solutions that support Amplar Health’s strategic goals. You will utilise your analytics experience to add value to Amplar Health by:
- Providing stakeholders with in-depth data analysis and management information to support informed decisions.
- Extracting, transforming, and analysing datasets to deliver customer and commercial insights via visualisations, reports, and insight packs.
- Monitor trends and performance drivers across programs and initiatives.
- Identify key metrics and KPIs to measure business and operational performance.
- Support stakeholders in interpreting and utilising self-service dashboards.
- Drive process improvement and automation using tools like SQL, SAS, Python, Tableau, and Excel.
- Build and enhance data management processes to support new initiatives.
- Apply analytics techniques to optimise operations and improve outcomes.
- Communicate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Resolve data quality issues and define new data requirements.
About you:
You’re an experienced analyst with a collaborative mindset and a strong work ethic. You have demonstrated the ability of transforming data into insights that drive strategic decisions and improve customer outcomes.
Other key experience includes:
- Proven experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence (2–5 years).
- Skilled in building dashboards and visualisations using Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Experience working with large datasets on platforms like AWS Redshift or SQL Server.
- Proficient in automating and optimising analytics and reporting processes.
- Interest in emerging analytics methods and solving business problems.
- Organised and able to deliver outcomes under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Tertiary qualification in Analytics, Data Science, IT, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
