We’re looking for a Business Analyst (HR Payroll and Rostering Systems) who is passionate about driving efficiency, compliance and innovation across HR and payroll processes.
About the Role
This is an 18 month fixed term contract position, where you will have the unique opportunity to revolutionise how rostering is done in the health space. Working on Tier 1 systems, this position will focus on the health space and work across rostering, time in attendance and payroll systems.
You will play a key role in identifying, implementing, and sustaining process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness in these areas. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across People & Culture and Payroll Operations to ensure compliance with evolving industrial relations laws, streamline processes through automation, and deliver meaningful change.
What You’ll Do
- Analyse HR and payroll processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulations and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement corrective actions using tools such as process redesign, training, and change management.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of process improvements.
- Create process documentation, training materials, and manage updates to knowledge databases.
- Support HR and Payroll teams in resolving queries and issues on an ad-hoc basis.
- Lead initiatives related to audit and compliance frameworks across HR, Time, Leave, and Payroll.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: a solid background in business analysis, process improvement, or similar roles.
- Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel and large data set integration.
- Knowledge of HR and payroll processes, industrial relations laws, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with improvement frameworks and methodologies.
- Familiarity with HR systems (SuccessFactors Suite) and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage change effectively and work independently with high attention to detail.
