The current Digital platforms have strong capabilities but for us to win in the context of 2030 vision, our digital assets will need to be reimagined and further evolved that is scalable, increases agility and accelerate solution delivery with improved security posture. 

We’re hiring a contractor for a 3-month Assistant Accountant role, paying up to $400/day including super. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative financial control team in a large, fast-paced organisation and expand your finance experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reconcile bank receipts and payments, investigate discrepancies
Prepare journals including accruals, prepayments, tax, and other entries
Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with monthly regulatory returns including BAS and payroll tax

What We’re Looking For

2+ years’ experience in finance or accounting within a large organisation
Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processes
Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in problem-solving
Confident communicator who works well independently and in a team
Experience with ERP systems and regulatory reporting is a plus

This short-term contract is ideal for someone ready to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
