The Opportunity – Risk Adviser, Controls Mastery | Group Risk & Compliance
Our Controls Mastery team is looking for a curious, collaborative adviser to help strengthen how we manage risk, compliance and controls across Medibank. This is a great development opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with the business and improving the way we work.
How you will create value
In this role, you will use your analytical skills, communication strengths and relationship mindset to support the uplift of Medibank’s control environment by:

Supporting quarterly monitoring, testing activities and the development of action plans

Reviewing and assessing controls to understand effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities

Helping business teams design, document and enhance controls that manage risks and compliance obligations

Supporting and the preparing of clear, accurate and timely reporting for leaders and Risk Committees

Building strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders so Controls Mastery is seen as a valuable and trusted partner

Supporting risk and compliance training, and contributing to improvement projects across the team
About you
We’re looking for someone with:

Experience in a consulting environment focusing on risk, compliance, controls, audit or a related field

Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret information, understand business processes and spot trends

The ability to build open, constructive and collaborative relationships with people across the organisation at various levels
-
Good organisational skills and comfort balancing multiple priorities
