The Opportunity


With a focus on enabling more Australians to receive quality care in their own home we are looking for Physiotherapists in the Melbourne Metro area to join the HealthStrong team.

 

We have both full time and part time positions, providing flexibility for those that might be studying part time, individuals looking for a better work life balance, or those interested  in something a little different.

 

This role will provide you with an opportunity to develop and build, your post-operative clinical skills by providing rehabilitation in the home for patients, post joint replacement surgery. Through the variety of clients we see referred into our service you will be able to enhance your skills in exercise prescription, short and long term functional restoration, falls prevention and general musculoskeletal assessments. 

 

Your objective will be providing high quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to help our clients achieve their goals. You will work as part of a large multidisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, dieticians and exercise physiologist, focused on the care and support of patients across our community.    

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Providing clinical care to your clients with a view to maximising their functional capacity, achieving their goals, and optimising their health, function and independence long term.
  • Delivering services effectively and efficiently in partnership with our scheduling team.
  • Ensuring our clients and customers receive an exceptional experience through the great clinical care you provide. 
  • Ensuring delivery of services according to the requirements of our funders, referrers, hospital and/or specialists, as set out within our processes and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team, supporting each other to deliver a high level of quality clinical care.

About You

 

As a passionate Physiotherapist, you are committed to providing best practice care to ensure our clients wellbeing.  You will love being on the road each day, providing care in client’s homes autonomously.

You can demonstrate your ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders and make professional contributions to a multidisciplinary environment and are committed to furthering your own professional development.Your ability to be flexible, means you are comfortable in adjusting your approach to meet our business and customer demands where necessary.

 

You will also have:

  • Degree or Post Graduate Qualification in Physiotherapy
  • At least 12 months relevant experience
  • Full registration with AHPRA
  • Reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
