Our joint venture specialises in delivering acute hospital-level services to patients in their homes. In collaboration with funders, we develop cutting-edge programs powered by clinical expertise and technology, all designed to relieve health system pressures and enable greater access to healthcare.
 

This opportunity
 

As a Wound Care Nurse, you will collaborate as part of a broader team working closely with Medical Officers, Nurse Care Coordinators, our service provider network and the Local Health Networks (LHNs). You will be responsible for delivering patient-centred care, to suitable patients for MHH and undertaking clinical reviews as part of a multi-disciplinary team within patient's home within the community.
 

We are seeking an experienced wound care nurse to provide exceptional care within a community and virtual setting. 
 

This position will be offered as part time position on a fixed-term contract till end of September, 2025. We can offer family friendly hours Monday to Friday 9:30am to 2:30pm or 9am to 2pm.
 

About You
  
Working in a dynamic environment applying your clinical skills, you will think on your feet and problem solve to ensure our consumers are provided with best practice care. 
 

You will also have:

•    Bachelor of Nursing & current unrestricted AHPRA registration
•    Current Basic Life Support certification
•    Extensive wound care experience in an acute setting
•    Clinical experience in the management of acute medical and surgical patients, Intravenous cannulation skills, or the willingness to achieve this competency, and experience with comprehensive clinical assessments will be highly regarded.
•    Understanding of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
