The Opportunity 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our SA Allied Health team, working in Adelaide Metro region. This is a permanent full-time or part-time position with the opportunity to increase in the future.

As a mobile Allied Health clinician, you will be providing care to Australian’s wherever they call home, including community and residential aged care. This is a great opportunity for you to experience a variety in your caseload.

Caseload within the Community includes:

• Home Care Package clients: supporting adults and elderly to remain independent at home, including home assessment, equipment prescription and home modifications.
• Rehab in the home program: focusing on client’s post orthopaedic (hip and knee) surgery
• Hospital in the Home program: supporting clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries
• South Australian Community Care: complete home safety assessments to identify any immediate equipment needs and/or risks.
• Transitional Care program: offering services to support clients within their home as they transition from hospital discharge to being independent at home.

The Senior Allied Health clinician will also have the responsibility of supporting other allied health clinicians within the team as well as provide non-clinical support to the management team. These duties would include workforce management, rostering and scheduling, resource development and business development opportunities.

The candidate must be a fully AHPRA registered clinician, ideally with a minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience.  As a mobile Occupational Therapist, you will be required to travel to client’s homes and therefore must have access to your own vehicle (kilometre reimbursement provided).
