Your opportunity
As a Scheduling Officer, working in the Practice Support Team, you will ensure the community clinicians and care assistants within Amplar Home and Allied Health are supported with the intake and administration of referrals and the allocation of services.
Here's a glimpse of what you will be doing:
• Ensure appropriately skilled staff are rostered at the right time to deliver patient care to clients in their own homes
• Ensuring the right number of staff, with the relevant skills/qualifications are scheduled to work at the right time in the right geographical location
• Ensure the schedules created are aligned to forecasted requirements
• Reschedule cover of unplanned changes in staff availability
We have a number of permanent opportunities available from part-time (2 days a week) up to full time. You have the flexibility to work from home or at one of offices or a combination of both.
About you
You have experience working in a similar role with a good understanding of scheduling, real time management and leave planning to ensure continuity of service delivery.
With proven skills in time management, multi-tasking and prioritising, you are able to work effectively in a multi-faceted team and equally as an autonomous operator. You also bring the following:
• Demonstrated ability to undertake detailed work & maintain information within systems with a high degree of accuracy
• Personal accountability and commitment to timely delivery of quality output
• High level of Proficiency of Microsoft Excel (experience with Access and SQL would be advantageous)
• Initiative, proactive attitude, with ability to multitask between phones, emails & scheduling and truly ‘think outside the box’
• Ability to thrive under tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work between 7.00am and 8.00pm across a 7-day roster
