The Opportunity
As a mobile Allied Health Physiotherapist, you will be providing care to individuals wherever they call home. This role may be primarily in community care setting assessing and treating clients within their homes, but may also involve residential aged care, health and wellness centres and/or virtual care delivery via telehealth. You will support clients via:
- Delivering Rehab in the home focusing on post orthopaedic surgery
- Supporting clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries
- Supporting those in our community who wish to remain independent at home
- Falls prevention, assessment and management
- Manual handling education and training
- Exercise Prescription and Review
This is a great opportunity for you to have variety in your caseload which will allow you to utilise your skills and grow as a health professional with the support of our senior clinicians. A mobile role provides the opportunity for flexibility of work hours and environments unseen in traditional and hospital roles.
This is a full time role where you will be committed to supporting and guiding clients to help them achieve their goals and ultimately to help them live their best live wherever our clients reside..
This role suits a qualified, fully AHPRA registered physiotherapist with ideally a minimum 2 years’ experience in the community and/or RAC setting. As a mobile physiotherapist, you will need to be comfortable travelling to our clients located in Toowoomba/Gatton/ QLD and as such provide your own vehicle. We are offering up to $90,000 TFR for this role, excluding kilometre reimbursement which will be provided for the travel mentioned above.
