Your career in healthcare made personal
At Medibank we’ve recently unified our health services under one brand – Amplar Health.
Core to the Amplar Health strategy is substantial growth in our hospital substitution, hospital avoidance and clinical home care delivery. We are an ambitious organisation with the vision of becoming Australia’s leading Hospital in the Home service provider.
Your opportunity
We are looking to build our current workforce of experienced Registered Nurses to work in the community on a casual or permanent basis.
Community nursing is fulfilling and every shift you feel like you are making a difference for someone. If you feel you have lost your 'spark' and want to get back to delivering personalised nursing care to your patients, this could be the opportunity for you.
Our nurses work across a 7-day roster between the hours of 7am and 10pm, we offer both morning and afternoon shifts, our staff do not work night shifts.
We are looking for experienced nurses who can provide availability across the 7-day week to work across both AM and PM shifts. We have four clinical teams in Adelaide spread across geographic locations.
If you are a RN in the following area we want to hear from you – Nairne, Mt Barker, Hahndorf, Cherry Gardens, Oakbank, Balhannah, Woodside, Carey Gully, Crafers, Stirling, Littlehampton and Uraidla.
About you
As an unrestricted AHPRA Registered Nurse you will need to demonstrate recent acute experience in a hospital or community setting and have the ability to spot client deterioration. Our nurses are the backbone of our business, a community role is personally rewarding coupled with flexibility and autonomy.
Chronic wound care and negative pressure experience, PICC care/dressing/removal and cannulation skills are highly desired along with strong clinical reasoning skills and a positive mindset.
