Customer Service and Sales Consultant
BROOKVALE, NSW, AU, 2100
You’re only human.
It’s a strange thing to say, because us humans are capable of incredible things. And at Medibank, we know our greatest potential lies in the people who work with us.
We strive to make real, fundamental change, driven by a simple purpose: to create the best health and wellbeing for all of Australia. And as part of the Medibank Group, you'll join an organisation united by that shared purpose.
Looking for meaningful work that keeps you connected to your community?
Maybe you're returning to work after some time away. Perhaps you're looking for something different from the corporate world. Or maybe you simply love connecting with people and want a role that gives you purpose, variety and flexibility.
At Medibank, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people.
As a Customer Service and Sales Consultant, you'll become a familiar face in your area, building relationships and helping customers feel supported when it comes to their health and wellbeing.
Why you might love this role
This isn't your traditional retail role.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Build genuine relationships with people in your local community
- Help customers understand their health cover and make choices that suit them
- Work across the store, from home, with local partners and within the community
- Enjoy variety rather than doing the same thing every day
- Develop new skills with full support and training from Medibank
- Be part of a team focused on creating better health and stronger communities
A role designed around people
We have a part-time opportunity based at our Brookvale store working 30 hours per week.
You'll connect with customers in-store, over the phone, online and out in the community.
You don't need health insurance experience. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
What matters to us is that you're someone who:
- Loves talking to and helping people
- Naturally builds rapport and trust
- Is confident learning technology and new systems
- Enjoys being part of their local community
- Is proactive, curious and happy working as part of a team
Experience in customer service, health, retail, sales, hospitality, banking or community-based work could all set you up well for this opportunity.
Flexibility and benefits that fit your life
Along with meaningful work, you'll receive:
- Subsidised private health insurance and fully subsidised Healthy Living Extras
- Flexible working across store, home and community settings
- Paid parental, volunteer, community and cultural leave, plus a Good Health Day
- Health and wellbeing support
- Learning, development and career opportunities
You'll work a flexible rotating roster Monday to Friday with alternating Saturdays. Hours rotate between 8am and 8pm, with rostered hours after 5pm worked from home.
Ready for something meaningful?
You don't need to come from health insurance, and you don't need to tick every box.
If you're looking for a role that lets you connect with people, contribute to your local community and do something meaningful with your day, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be part of a team that's reimagining how work, wellbeing and growth come together, with the flexibility, support and opportunities to make a meaningful impact while building a career that works for you and reaching your fullest human potential.
