Physiotherapy Lead

The opportunity
This newly created full time Physiotherapy Lead role will be the senior clinical resource for physiotherapy across TCS located in Adelaide’s CBD and Walkerville, supporting high‑quality, safe, and consumer‑centred care, delivering expert clinical assessment, complex case management, and evidence‑based intervention.
You will:
- Provide advanced clinical decision‑making, expert assessment, and complex case management for patients with multifactorial functional, mobility, and rehabilitation needs.
- Lead and coordinate physiotherapy service delivery across TCS, ensuring integrated, timely, and effective care pathways.
- Oversee physiotherapy practice standards and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to physiotherapists and other members of your team, to strengthen clinical capability.
- Lead service development, audit activity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure physiotherapy practice aligns with organisational policies, standards, and best‑practice guidelines.
About you
- Degree in Physiotherapy with current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
- Extensive post graduate clinical experience, including advanced practice in geriatric or rehabilitation settings.
- Advanced knowledge of geriatric physiotherapy, rehabilitation, falls prevention, and functional assessment.
- High level skills in complex discharge planning and transitional care models.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence practice, and drive service improvement.
- Strong capability in change management and implementing new models of care.
- Understanding of rehabilitation principles and safe manual handling.
- If successful, willing and able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
- Holding a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing and eligible to obtain).
