We are establishing a new care service and are seeking experienced Administration Officers to join the team on a part time (0.7 FTE) basis.

 

This is a unique opportunity to be involved from the ground up, contributing to the establishment of a transitional care service.

 

Your Opportunity

The Administration team work Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster between the hours of 8am to 4pm.
 

This role is crucial in supporting clinical staff in the smooth operations of the service, including:

  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Coordinate appointments and transport services
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries and liaise with families
  • Provide administrative support to a multidisciplinary team

 

About You

  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and able to learn and use a range of databases
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • A positive attitude and commitment to patient-centred care
  • Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check (or are willing and eligible to obtain)
  • If successful, willing and able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations

  • Experience as a hospital ward clerk looking for a new opportunity in a fresh environment
  • Highly efficient accurate and can build rapport easily
  • Experience in diary management and appointments systems
  • Able to work 3 to 4 shifts a week on a 7-day rotating roster
