Home Support Services (HSS) which is part of the Medibank Enterprise, has been providing in-home healthcare services since 1989. We understand that Australians want more choice over where and when they receive care. Where clinically appropriate, our national home healthcare business, Home Support Services (HSS), offer people the flexibility of receiving healthcare and support services in alternative settings to hospitals, wherever they call ‘home’.

 

Your Opportunity 

 

As the National Service Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for developing and engaging your leadership team so that the skills and performance of the team can meet the current and future goals of HSS and the wider Homecare Division.  You will play an active role in managing the HSS operations including analysing and improving quality, productivity and efficiency as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. You will oversee the Program Leads and ensure the tactics being employed to maximise program outputs are fit for purpose and client centred.  

 

We are seeking a capable leader, someone who will seamlessly build and develop their team whilst ensuring the team members maximum growth is achieved. You will be motivated and driven, think outside the box and challenge the way we deliver our programs. Your leadership experience will enable you to continually improve the delivery of our programs, whilst playing a pivotal role in HSS transitioning to a virtual space.


Reporting directly to the Head of HSS, your positive approach, proactive nature and willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate and get things done will be key to your success as you actively participate to assist HSS transform into the largest virtual hospital in Australia.


What will set you apart from the rest?


•    5 years’ experience as a Qualified Health Practitioner 
•    Current unrestricted AHPRA registration (desirable)
•    Minimum of 5 years management experience leading teams
•    Experience leading & managing hospital and/or community-based services to clients
•    Proven experience in delivering transformational change & process optimisation
•    Knowledge and demonstrated experience working with budgets 
•    Proficiency in IT software  
•    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills- ability to motivate a team and drive a successful team through growth and change
