Your Opportunity:

 

As part of the Clinical Governance Team (CGT), you will help to manage clinical risk and drive quality improvement for the benefit of our participants/patients/residents/consumers. You will focus on acting as a key support to the CGT and operations teams to ensure compliance with Medibanks Clinical Governance and Quality Management Framework. 

 

The Clinical Governance Business Partner role is being offered as a full time 12-month contract. This can be either part time or full time, we also offer flexible working options to work from home. In this role you will be responsible for performing key activities provided by the Clinical Governance Team and will have primary responsibilities for the following activities:

 

•    Secretarial and support function for clinical meetings 
•    Oversight and management of the clinical complaints and incident management system and processes to ensure efficient operation
•    Credentialing of health practitioners
•    Involvement in quality improvement activities 
•    Assistance with data management for internal and external reporting
•    Liaising with internal and external stakeholders 
•    Assist with accreditation related activities including staff education
•    Implementing the clinical audit program
•    Develop and update clinical policies and procedures

 

What will set you apart from the rest?

 

•    A degree in a health-related field (Nursing, Allied Health)
•    Experience in a healthcare environment 
•    Excellent knowledge base on Aged Care Standards & National Health Safety Standards
•    Experience using health related internet-based software e.g. Equifax/Riskman
•    Experience in quality assurance and clinical governance or similar
•    High level interpersonal skills
•    Comfortable working in virtual mediums
•    Ability to work independently with technical applications e.g. Zoom, Teams, Outlook, Microsoft forms
•    Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team setting
•    Ability to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes
