Home Support Services (HSS) is part of the Medibank enterprise and is the leading provider of home hospital care for a range of public and private funders. We provide healthcare and wellbeing services nationally in alternative settings to hospitals, supporting people across the care continuum.

 

Your opportunity

Due to exciting growth we are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Rostering & Scheduling Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis, located at our Adelaide head office in Fullarton. The key area of focus for this position is to:

 

  • Ensure patient care is delivered optimally to clients in their own homes
  • Ensuring the right number of staff, with the relevant skills/qualifications are scheduled to work at the right time in the right geographical location
  • Creation of rosters that provide an efficient service delivery experience
  • Ensure the generation of schedules is aligned to forecasted requirements
  • To reschedule cover of unplanned changes in staff availability

 

What will set you apart from the rest?

You will have previous experience using rostering systems to roster large teams, preferably in a home care environment. A skilled communicator both written and verbal, you will have proven skills in time management, multi-tasking and prioritising, whilst working effectively in a multi-faceted team. A knowledge of community-based health services is desirable together with:

  • Experience in leave planning & scheduling to ensure continuity of care & service delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake detailed work & maintain information systems with a high degree of accuracy
  • Initiative, proactive attitude, with ability to multitask between phones, emails & scheduling
  • Ability to thrive under tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work between 7.00am and 8.00pm across a 7-day roster
