With this expansion we have brand new opportunities for RNs to join this amazing team on a full time or part time (0.6 FTE as a minimum) basis.

About us
To date, Amplar Health Home Hospital has successfully delivered care to over 210,000 patients nationally. Through this achievement, we have showcased remarkable levels of patient experience, notable decreases in emergency department visits & significant cost savings for funders.
The Transition Care Service provides public hospital patients who no longer require acute clinical care. They are able to rest and recover in this unique environment.
Your opportunity
This opportunity will provide you a chance to exercise your experience as a Registered Nurse, providing comprehensive care to patients with a broad range of needs in a new dynamic setting outside of the hospital. Aditionally you will:
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient centred care within a multidisciplinary environment
- Work in a professionally simulating, rewarding environment that utilises innovative technology
- Respond confidently to clinical changes and other emergency situations
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement
About you
You will be available to work full time or part time, on a 7-day rotating rostering across morning, afternoon and night shifts (once orientation is complete rosters are available approximately 4 weeks in advance). You are passionate about patient centred care and excited to be a part of this innovative model of care, in addition to:
- Having at least one years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Recent acute nursing experience
- Experience in wound care management
- Hold current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing and eligible to obtain).
- If successful, willing and able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
- Nurses with agency experience in acute care are encouraged to apply.
