The Opportunity

The Overseas Customer Operations Team Leader role will provide the right candidate with an extremely rewarding opportunity to build on their leadership skills in an exciting organisation, driven by our commitment to creating a fantastic member experience.

Our Overseas Customer Operational Delivery team manages a number of critical functions for our Overseas customer base including processing claims and making administrative changes to membership policies and member details.

We’re looking for an experienced leader to help drive high performance, staff engagement and continuous process improvement across a team of 12 - 15 consultants as well as the broader department.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering an exceptional NPS (Net Promoter Score) for the organisation by ensuring our processing is accurate and efficient and that our interactions with providers are of the highest standard
  • Manage resourcing, training, and work queues with a focus on process improvement to deliver operational excellence
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for our members and our business
  • Build capability through coaching and mentoring and promote a culture of empowerment and accountability

About You

To be successful, you will have prior experience in a similar role in ideally in an Operational environment within a large organisation. You will have a strong understanding of business planning to achieve specific outcomes and deliverables and be focused on continuous improvement and streamlining of processes. You will have passion for coaching and the development of individuals and the ability to lead, mentor and manage change through inspiring individuals.

Prior knowledge and understanding of the health, finance, or insurance industry will be highly regarded.
