We are looking for an experienced manager to manage a team of high performing professionals across QLD, NSW, ACT and WA, for a 12 month period. As the GP Liaison Officer (GPLO) Regional Manager, you will develop, manage and coordinate area activities for the CareComplete programs. You will ensure productive and effective working relationships are built between the GPLOs and the general practices as part of CareComplete’s suite of programs.
Key responsibilities in the role include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating GPLO practice engagement activities. Supporting GPLOs with the program launch and delivery activities as required;
- Ensuring that the Care programs are delivered in accordance with clinical, financial, operational, contractual and reputational program objectives;
- Conducting regular conversations with the team and individuals on the Medibank and Business Unit strategy/plan and the role that the team and team members play in achieving it; and
- Promoting an environment that delivers and achieves the organisational goals and program vision whilst fulfilling the potential of team members.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced people leader with multi-state management, and ideally, chronic disease management experience. Strong networks across the primary care setting, especially within the general practice environment, including understanding the requirements of the relevant MBS items, will be a key driver of your success. Knowledge in the delivery of health behaviour change programs, Team Care Arrangements and GP management plans, whilst not mandatory, will also provide a great platform for your success.
Most importantly, you will be passionate about influencing positive change in healthcare.
This is a full time role with the requirement to travel within and outside the region. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are mandatory requirements for the role (travel reimbursements will apply).
