This role of Finance Partner in this area of the business is responsible for the portfolio’s core business drivers and financial performance reporting, at the heart of our business – customer channels. Working with the team that strive to delight our customers on a daily basis, you’ll assist these key stakeholders in delivering success by acting as the principal finance support mechanism and acting as a trusted advisor, whilst maintaining financial governance and accountability.
Each day you will be involved in delivering timely strategic insights on the constantly evolving suite of financial and performance KPIs for the Customer Channels team. You'll have responsibility for the coordination and management of the delivery and presentation of the portfolio's Forecast and Corporate Plan (Opex, capex and commercial drivers) including strategic initiative overlays. There will also be an opportunity to Influence the portfolio's initiatives via strategic input at the development phase and subsequently through industry leading financial benefits and opportunity cost modelling and stress testing, including trackable financial and non-financial metrics to ensure benefits are either achieved or remediation requirements are highlighted well in advance.
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 10 years demonstrated experience in business strategy, and decision support- preferably with a Big 4 foundation, as well as a post graduate finance qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent). You will have proven ability to build and manage trusting, collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders and executives and the ability to influence via immediate strategic insight, strong articulation skills and commercial acumen. People will have described you as someone with best practice reporting and dashboard development skills that include highly advanced excel skills and the ability to convert complex financial information into easy to interpret information for a non-financial audience.
