We currently have a 12-month maternity leave contract opportunity to directly support two of our busy General Managers. In this role you will provide high level confidential support and assist in navigating through all areas of the Medibank business. You will be proactive in identifying opportunities, implementing solutions and be the first point of contact for all the day-to-day administrative support to ensure the effectiveness of the GMs' daily activities.
As a Personal Assistant, you will also collaborate as part of a broader EA and PA community to ensure that Medibank's senior leadership teams are setup for success.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring your General Managers are appropriately briefed & prepared prior to internal & external meetings or conferences including preparing daily briefing packs, meeting packs and reading packs on a daily and weekly basis;
- Proactive diary and calendar management, including negotiating and scheduling meetings;
- Building effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the Medibank Group and liaising with the Group Executive and senior managers; and
- Developing, updating and maintaining administrative systems and documentation.
To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience in a personal assistant role supporting senior management within a corporate environment, ideally with multi-site exposure. You maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism and can build and maintain positive and effective working relationships and influence where required. You are proactive, flexible and forward thinking, and solutions-focussed.
Other requirements include advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite i.e. word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook email systems; excellent time management skills and the ability to manage a number of priorities concurrently; and experience using SAP finance processing.
In line with Medibank’s flexible working conditions, this General Manager likes to get in and leave the office early, so an early bird will work particularly well in this instance.
