Medibank is looking to appoint a senior leader to drive our retail capability and execute the retail elements of our customer strategy – to be the trusted partner to our members’ for their whole of life health & wellness. In this role, you will shape and define the future of the Medibank Retail function to deliver a market leading experience for our customers.
About the General Manager Retail role
This is a key leadership role where you will empower the Retail team to ensure customer adoption of our retail strategy and improved acquisition and retention performance. You will work alongside peers in Customer Connect, Digital and Sales & Channel Transformation and deliver on the vision for Medibank’s future customer experience. All of this will be achieved while driving a culture of customer centricity, revenue generation & continuous improvement with an engaged workforce at the core.
A further focus is to maximise value to our customers and shareholders. This will be achieved by developing our retail sales and service capability and savviness, delivering innovative ways for our customers to better align with us through ‘our better health’ purpose and driving and managing stakeholder relationships within Medibank to drive Omni channel enablement and execution.
As part of the Customer Channels Leadership team, you will report to the DGM Customer Channels and play a key leadership role in delivering on our target customer experience, including driving innovation around the way Medibank interacts with its customers and providers.
You are a Senior Leader with significant expertise in transforming a commercial sales and service customer environment, and growing profitable business. You have the ability to attract and retain talented, creative people and you believe in applying a lean approach to problem solving, an agile approach to delivery and you take pride in the way you can influence a customer’s experience through the customer channels. You are a natural collaborator, a strong stakeholder manager and you have extensive experience in leading large customer centric teams.
Above all, you demonstrate thought leadership, developed within complex environments and you have built high performing teams, managed through significant change or preferably a mixture of both.
