The HR Business Partner
is a strategically focused position and will support multiple business units
including Technology, Back Office Operations, and People & Culture. With
these client groups, you will focus on supporting leaders to identify and work
through complex people and culture opportunities and challenges, both strategic
and operational as they relate to the leadership and development of people.
As a trusted advisor,
the HR Business Partner will provide expert strategic advice, guidance and
quality service to internal clients in relation to all HR matters, and take a
leading role in fostering the cultural and compliance framework to support the
overall delivery of Medibank's People and Culture Strategy. As the HR Business
Partner, working at the heart of transformational change, you will embrace a variety
of work and thrive in our dynamic, agile environment.
- Providing strategic
advice to leaders in relation to their strategy and future business needs,
and linking those to people requirements, plans and change programs;
interpretation and counsel to senior leaders regarding polices,
programs and practices;
- Providing comprehensive
advice and coaching to leaders on people and general management issues;
- Drawing upon the
expertise of our well established People & Culture Centres of
- Enabling the
development and implementation of People & Culture programs and
You are an experienced
Human Resources professional who brings expert knowledge of generalist or
specialist human resources policies and practices and significant capability in
You will have either
partnered with the Technology function within a large corporate or will have
been immersed within a Technology business, as well as had experience
partnering with a broader group of clients.
Tertiary qualified, you
are highly commercial with a customer service mindset and demonstrate strong
relationship management and influencing skills. Your ability to interact senior
level in a pragmatic, level headed way, whilst driving results will be proven,
and will have been critical to your career success.
